Opening an Account
Opening a new bank account is a simple procedure, all you need to do is complete a New Account Form and simply do the following:
- Provide CBA UK with a certified copy of your passport;
- Provide CBA UK with proof of your residential address in the UK (utility bill and bank statement dated within the last three months will be sufficient); and
- Visit, call or email CBA UK and we will be able to assist you.
As soon as your completed application has been processed, which usually takes five working days, we will send you a letter confirming your London Account Number. This London Account Number is our primary means of reference and should be quoted on all correspondence with us and on any payments you, or a third party, send to us for transfer on your behalf.
